That’s not a parody headline. She actually said that. Trump campaign manager turned top advisor Kellyanne Conway is urging Americans to not judge President-Elect Donald Trump by his words and actions, but rather, by “what’s in his heart.”
Defending Trump amid a new round of criticism for his mocking a disabled reporter after Meryl Streep highlighted the bullying behavior in her Golden Globes speech, Conway told CNN New Day host Chris Cuomo that “That is not what he did and he has said that 1,000 times. Why can’t you give him the benefit of the doubt?”
Cuomo responded with “He can say it a million times but look at the video… he’s making a disgusting gesture on video.”
For the record, here is the video showing what is undeniably, unquestionably, unarguably, 100% factually Trump mocking someone with disabilities: http://www.cnn.com/videos/tv/2015/11/26/donald-trump-mocks-reporter-with-disability-berman-sot-ac.cn
“Why is everything taken at face value?” Conway then asked Cuomo. “You can’t give him the benefit of the doubt on this and he’s telling you what was in his heart, you always want to go with what’s come out of his mouth rather than look at what’s in his heart.”
You can’t make this stuff up. What is wrong with this woman’s brain that she can’t see that what is in Trump’s heart is the exact same thing as what comes out of his mouth: vile, disgusting, hatefulness, and little else.
