Former President Donald Trump has certainly turned off some of his most loyal supporters with his recent push to get people vaccinated against COVID-19, to the extent of being booed loudly by a group of them at a recent speaking engagement and blasted on a far-right radio program.

InfoWars founder and long-time Trump ally Alex Jones, who helped fund the “stop the steal” movement that eventually attacked the US Capitol Building on Jan. 6, 2021, went after Trump on the Christmas Day edition of his InfoWars radion show:

“This is an emergency Christmas Day warning to President Trump. You are either completely ignorant about the so called ‘vaccine’ gene therapy that you helped ram through with operation warp speed, or you are one of the most evil men who has ever lived.”

Jones continued, referencing Trump’s interview with right-wing personality Candace Owens, saying “What you told Candace Owens is nothing but a raft of dirty lies.”

During that interview, Owens, a staunch anti-vaxxer, insinuated that COVID vaccines do not work because more people have died from the virus during Joe Biden’s first year in the White House and the vaccines became available.

Trump cut Owenws off, insisting that the vaccines do work, and that the majority of people who were becoming ill and dying were those who remain unvaccinated:

“Oh no, the vaccines work, but… the ones who get very sick and go to the hospital are the ones that don’t take the vaccine. But it’s still their choice. And if you take the vaccine, you’re protected. Look, the results of the vaccine are very good, and if you do get it, it’s a very minor form. People aren’t dying when they take the vaccine.”
