Anderson Cooper Silences Kellyanne Conway after Pointing Out Her Hypocrisy

She’s had it coming to her for a long time now…

Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, appeared on CNN in an interview with Anderson Cooper this week. During the interview she levied charge after baseless charge at CNN and other media for, in her words, their inability to “remind people who Hillary Rodham Clinton actually is. If others aren’t going to hold her account for her full record, then yes, we will.” So she decided to talk about a lawsuit brought by Paula Jones against Bill Clinton. That lawsuit was settled out of court for $850,000, and in Conway’s words, that translates to an admission of guilt.

Cooper jumped on her blatant hypocrisy – and it was fantastic.

But your candidate has settled numerous lawsuits without admitting any guilt on a whole number of things. Are you saying, are you implying that settling a lawsuit is implying guilt? Because if so, it means that your candidate is guilty of an awful lot of things,” Cooper said

Conway immediately realizes that while in conjuring up her clever attacks, she completely forgot about that all important concept of “double standard.” She starts bumbling and stumbling over her words as she quickly tries to deflect Cooper’s question and take the conversation to a new place. Cooper doesn’t let up. And it is brilliant.
