Mary Trump, the niece of President Donald Trump, has been a recent source of aggravation for the former president.
This came to a head after she released an instantly popular new book about the Trump family.
She is now enjoying high ratings from TV appearances.
In fact, Mary Trump took to twitter to taunt her uncle about the large number of viewers who tuned in to her MSNBC appearance.
According to the New York Post, Mary Trump tweeted “5.23 million v. 5.11 million,” which were her recent MSNBC ratings to the ratings of his recent town hall event on Fox News.
Mary Trump used the hashtag “#seldomseen” at the end of the tweet, which referenced an earlier attack from the president where he called her a “seldom seen niece who knows little about me.”
MSNBC journalist Rachel Maddow interviewed Trump’s niece to talk about her new tell-all book – which was released with record breaking sales -about the president and the entire Trump family entitled, “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man.”
Mary Trump shared insights about her uncle with Maddow, revealing such details like hearing Trump use the N-word and other racial and anti-Semitic slurs.
She said of her uncle, “I don’t think that should surprise anybody given how virulently racist he is today.”
Mary Trump had this to say on her choice to release this information now, “I can’t say there was a last straw because there have been so many straws, but certainly the horrors at the border, the separating of children from their parents, the torture, the kidnapping and the incarceration of them in cages was unthinkable, unbearable.”
According to Variety, she added, “When an opportunity presented itself to me to do something, I needed to take a leap.”
Obviously the president didn’t like her comments and he threw a typical Twitter tantrum and described Mary Trump as a “seldom seen niece who knows little about me.”
He also claimed she was saying “untruthful things” about him and the Trump family and accused that she “violated her NDA.”

The White House denies any and all contents of the book. They furthermore deny that Trump has ever used racial slurs
