Jared Kushner was a Senior Adviser to President Donald Trump.  Before accepting that position, Kushner had no political experience or qualifications, unless being married to the president’s daughter counts.

Another role Kushner played in Trump’s administration was as lead US negotiator for peace in the Middle East.

While acting in that capacity, Kushner made an appearance at the Saban Forum, and was immediately proven to be severely lacking the necessary mental prowess to inhabit such a position.

Forum founder and Israeli-American telecom billionaire, Haim Saban, spoke with Kushner live on air.

Saban allowed Kushner to discuss several of the problems facing the Middle East, with Kushner sounding like he was “giving a third grade report”.

At that point, Saban jumped in to educate the unqualified Kushner, saying, “I understand that.

But, to achieve that, the team has in it an entrepreneur, a real estate lawyer, a bankruptcy lawyer.

I don’t know how you’ve lasted eight months in this lineup, but that’s for another day. And it’s impressive that it’s still going! There’s not a Middle East macher [Yiddish for expert] in this group, so, I mean, how do you operate with people who basically, you know…with all due respect, a bunch of Orthodox Jews who have no idea about anything?”

In a matter of seconds, Saban pointed out one of the biggest failings of both President Donald Trump and the top people in his administration:  the serious lack of knowledge and experience. Our country had a leader with exactly no experience in politics.  He in turn brought in advisers who have no idea what they are doing as well.  It was a dangerous case of the blind leading the blind.

Saban is right to be concerned. One only wonders why more of the US’s citizens aren’t.
