Two Georgia election workers are suing former Trump lawyer and former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani and the One America News network for their constant lies about them fixing the 2020 Presidential election for President Joe Biden and against Donald Trump.
Politico’s Kyle Cheney reports that Wandrea “Shaye” Moss and her mother, Ruby Freeman, have documented the threats they’ve received after Giuliani and the far right “news” network accused them, without evdience, of manipulating ballots in Georgia.
From the lawsuit:
“On multiple occasions, strangers camped out at Ms. Freeman’s home and/or knocked on her door. When Ms. Freeman was not home or would not answer the door, these strangers would sometimes also harass her neighbors. Strangers were coming to her home so frequently that the local police agreed to add her address to their patrols in the area.”
The suit added that the FBI advised Freeman to leave her home throughout most of January 2021 to protect herself from angry Trump supporters. She ultimately took the advice and didn’t return home for around two months.
Moss’s story is similar, claiming that:
“on at least two occasions, strangers showed up at her grandmother’s home and attempted to push into the house in order to make a ‘citizens’ arrest.’ On these occasions, Ms. Moss’s grandmother, who is in her mid-seventies, called her in a panic, confused and scared for her safety.”
In addition, the pair also filed a suit earlier this month against the Gateway Pundit website, which also published lies about them stealing the 2020 Presidential election for Joe Biden.
